Never ate here until recently. Just wasn't on my radar. I did not find the menu to have a lot of selections. They do have daily specials. I "settled" for something and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. Food was amazing. Very impressed and have recommended it to several people since then. Go early though. The staff was very accommodating but, it does appear they are usually "on a wait."

Yesterday I dined at Station 6 with a coworker as a late bday dinner for myself. The service was excellent. The passion fruit sidecar was amazing. The waitress warned that it may be sour but it was perfect. In true celebratory fashion, I had 2. The crawfish spinach dip was good but needed a little salt. My coworker is a picky eater and absolutely lived it. This was a plus because she always makes me nervous when I pick a spot to eat and I don't know what she will like. I also ordered the American Red Snapper. The grilled red snapper with crawfish rice pilaf was amazing. I'm not much of a salt person but I did feel I needed to add a little salt to this dish as well. That's a simple fix and didn't stop the show. Typically when I come here I order the fried soft shell crab. My friend ordered that and loved it. I'm glad I decided to try something new. The restaurant was pretty calm and quiet for a Tuesday night, but I think the rain may have scared the crowd away initially. Things started to get a little busier right as we were leaving. I will definitely be back soon.

I'm in love with the satellite music and the giant mural of the lake Pontchartrain shrimp boat. Our waitress was on spot. We gave Hailey a real thumbs up for her excellent service. The inteior is nice, everything on menu was awesome, from the appetizers to the meal & dessert. The bread pudding is delicious.. servers are constantly moving, and the "overall" experience was great for a birthday dinner.

Went with co-workers for lunch. Casual place with outside seating. We sat outside as the weather was nice. Good service and the wait staff were friendly. Chicken sandwich was decent. It was cooked a little too long being that the chicken was somewhat dry. More of like a seafood spot.

When my friend swooped me up and told me we were going on an adult field trip to Bucktown, I had no idea how lucky I would be. We sat outside which was very delightful. The outdoor dining area is surrounded by curtains, so we don't have to look at the parking lot. Thank you!! The food was delicious, all the seafood tasted fresh and clean. The crab cake is not to be missed, the remoulade was so good we asked for extra and the crab cake was more crab than cake! Very important to note, as I do not enjoy bready crab cakes. The highlight of our dining experience was definitely our server Phillip. Phillip was prompt, helpful and attentive, what more can three friends on an adult field trip ask for but Philip as our server? I would recommend a trip to station 6 any time you are in Bucktown, USA.

Don't let the casual name fool you. At first glance, one may think this is a sport's bar that sells wings and sliders. However, you'll quickly realize that this place serves up what would be close to fine dining in a small, quaint setting. They also offer outdoor seating with large heaters! Onward to food... I ordered the sizzling garlic shrimp for my appetizer. This was delicious. It arrived at our table still bubbling hot and sizzling per the name. The shrimp were so decadent and plump. The flavor profile was light but buttery and savory. I'm not even a shrimp lover but I would 100% get this again. For my entree, I had the special of the day, which was flounder with mashed potatoes, Brussels, crawfish sauce, and onion strings. Honestly, the waiter had a better description than what I am writing. Nonetheless, it was delicious!!!! It was so easy to eat and everything paired well with a glass of white wine. The seafood was so fresh tasting, which made for an even greater experience. My best friend also enjoyed her food! Overall, I highly recommend. Super cute for a date night and/or just a chill, quality dinner. The service was great and actually pretty fast. The menu is on the shorter side and mostly consists of seafood. Prices are $$-$$$.

Wonderful, friendly service with well crafted cocktails and good food. I don't eat seafood, but what I saw come out looked fresh from the Gulf. The chicken sandwich was an entire breast and lightly breaded with a just the right amount of blue cheese dressing, hot sauce and a few pickles. Flavors were fantastic. The fries were crisp and ready to enjoy. The space is clean and inviting. It's worth a stop for some drinks and some tasty food.

I can't believe it's been seven years since my last review of Station 6. Time sure does fly. I'm very happy to report that this is still one of our favorite weekend dinner spots. We're there at least once a month and the food and service are still phenomenal. :)

Phenomenal Everything you've heard plus more My husband said it was the best fish plate he has had (redfish on the half shell add oysters $30, +$11) and I had the American redfish on the crawfish rice pilaf (plus added crab on top! $30) I don't usually enjoy bread pudding but everyone on Yelp said to order it and they were not wrong! We were stuffed but we finished it They had a cocktail special that was similar to egg nog but lighter- very good- ask about cocktail specials tho I'm certain you'll be presented with those right away- service is perfect: waiter was very dialed in and a manager stood by the tables as well NO reservations but plenty of space outside to wait (bar is very small so bad weather could hinder the wait) or you could go for a walk
